Papermaking
|
Making unique sheets of A5 paper using flowers, herbs, found materials.

Open Demonstrations: for the general public. “Roll on, roll off”, people come, have a go, and take their single sheet home with them. See below for more details.

PUBLIC DEMONSTRATIONS

Papermaking
|
All day, ongoing process of producing interesting pieces of colourful handmade papers. Flowers, grasses, feathers, coloured pulps, multi-coloured laminates, inserts are made whilst discussing materials, tools, history, recycling issues, use and storage of handmade papers, etc.

Woodcut Printing
|
Designs are carved onto wooden blocks and printed by hand burnishing and the use of a small portable press. Items from the artists own work and archives are displayed, giving historical and contemporary insight into this ancient and much loved art form.
